Mango Yellow (2002)

Forget about the British hit “Mellow Yellow” written and recorded by Scotsman Donovan in 1966, Brazil has since released the movie Mango Yellow in 2002. Also known as Amarelo Manga, the foreign flick received several accolades while playing at the Festival de Brasília and the Berlin Film Festival. The Brazilian Film Critics Association even ranked it among the best Brazilian films of all time. And who can argue with their standards since the country is named for a bikini wax and gave us the thong! Since then, it’s given us a skintastic drama featuring Dira Paes, Jonas Bloch, Matheus Nachtergaele, and Leona Cavalli’s bodacious body! As a barmaid named Lígia, Leona is the glue that holds the plot together as a cast of characters come and go to a Texas Hotel. Speaking of glue, audiences members will get sticky while watching Ms. Cavalli on camera. She opens the movie by leaving her bed and her clothes behind — and what a behind she has! Throughout the low-budget pic, she continues to strut her stuff in the buff. As such, we can glance at her naked T&A! Suffice it to say, what the indie film lacks in funds, it makes up for in flesh. If that’s not arousing enough, the fiery redhead proves her hotel carpet matches the drapes when she shows off her flaming bush in a close-up.
