Madman of The People

Madman of the People was a comedy series that, despite an excellent cast (Craig Bierko,Dabney Coleman, and Cynthia Gibb) and winning an ASCAP Film and Television Music Award(for Top TV Series), was cancelled after only sixteen episodes in June 1995. The story focused on newspaper editor Jack 'Madman' Buckner (Coleman), a temperamental blowhard who doesn’t mind saying precisely what’s on his mind. The problem is that Jack’s boss constantly contradicts his viewpoints, but it gets worse: she’s also his daughter (Gibb)! In order to keep the newspaper alive, the two have to work out their difficulties and come to terms with each other.  Nudity Report: None!
