Born as one Lucretia Hickerson in Borger, Texas, the oldest of eight children, the luminous Lucretia Lovefound fame as an actress and dancer via Italy, starring in Spaghetti Westerns and swashbuckling adventures. Her debut found her as Leah in From Istanbul, Orders to Kill (1965). The following year, she introduced Italians to one nipple in a quick boob flash in The She-Beast (1966), but gave everyone a longer, prettier look as lead character Zenabel in Zenabel (1969), opening the film by twirling and de-clothing in the sun, then later going almost full-frontal naked with her small breasts and tiny waist. She’s naked in several other films, including as Lella in When Women Played Ding Dong (1971) (true story: that’s an actual title); Ippolita in La bella Antonia, prima Monica e poi Dimonia (1972), aka Naughty Nun; Lucia in The Eerie Midnight Horror Show (1974); as Hélène in Affair (1974); playing Susan in A Whisper in the Dark (1976); Insegnante di Inglese in Signore e signori, buonanotte (1976), aka an English teacher in Goodnight, Ladies and Gentlemen; and, in one of the more famous of the sexploitation films of the ‘70s, The Arena (1974), where she played Deidre opposite Pam Grier in the Italian/American collab feature. One of her most impressive nudity flicks, she appears opposite the entire female cast in a nice “wash off the female gladiators” scene. After her film career ended, she became Miss Lucy, a teacher, artist and community activist in the Seychelles, the islands she called home for three decades. Sadly, Lucretia passed away in January 2019 at the age of 77.
