Luanne Roberts is a woman of many names and name moods. She’s been credited as Lisa Ashbury, Christine Murray, and Robert Landis, along with several variations of Luanne. As for her movie career, she swings between Hollywood movies with big names, and X-rated fare with people known in quite different circles. And just to mix it up even further, she’s also had guest-starring roles in several primetime televisions series. Starting with those more mainstream flicks, you can see Luanne as a painted party girl in Myra Breckinridge(1970) with Mae West and Raquel Welch, playing Ad’s girlfriend in Bunny O’Hare (1971) with Bette Davis and Ernest Borgnine, appearing in Stand Up and Be Counted (1972) with Jacqueline Bisset, as a town woman in Gone with the West (1974) with James Caan, and as a suburban housewife in Thunderbolt and Lightfoot(1974) with Clint Eastwood and Jeff Bridges, where she goes full-frontal naked while standing in front of her sliding glass door, while Mr. Bridges approaches the house and pauses to appreciate the sight (as he should). As for those X-rated flicks, Luanne has participated in Trader Hornee, The Tale of the Dean’s Wife, The Ravager, How to Succeed with Sex, Miss Nymphet’s Zap-In, Dandy, and Come One, Come All, all in 1970, and in Prison Girls (1972), where her very hairy ‘70s-styling bush is on full display along with the rest of her naked self.
