Love Strange Love (1982)

He's the older version of Hugo (Marcelo Ribeiro), a twelve year old boy who lives with his grandma, until she ships him off to live with his hooker mom, Anna (Vera Fischer). It's a pretty sweet life for a young boy, since he lives in an attic where he can peep in on all the action, and even gets propositioned a few times for a free round with the young but very busty prostitute Tamara (Xuxa Meneghel). But when the dude who runs the brothel, Dr. Osmar (Tarcisio Meira) tries to entertain and blackmail a fascist political leader (Mauro Mendonca) he thinks will lead the country to ally with Adolf Hitler and the rest of the Axis forces, things get sticky. And not in the good way! Obviously we know things end up okay for Hugo, but blackmailing a dude is a high risk move for a brothel, so who knows what's going to happen to the other hookers? Vera Fischer oozes Oedipal appeal as Forster’s fine MILF, but the film is best known for future kiddie-show hostess Xuxa Meneghel in a shocking early role as a hooker. In one of the wilder scenes, Xuxa gives the kid a heapin’ helpin’ of hooters that (temporarily) takes his mind off the news that his mom sells her body. Then we see her ass as she's getting it on with a John for a few dollars. She even does the old pop out of a cake turned striptease move! That'll make it move! Bro, this is one hot brothel! And if you're not afraid of getting all sorts of weird, you can also see when Hugo watched Anna take a shower, showing all three B's, then observes her lying in bed topless with one of her paying customers. You'll love the sex! Then, think about the kid's age, his weird closeness with his mom, and the fact that Tamara's boning a fascist, and realize how strange the plot it.
