Loose Shoes (1980)

In the spirit of ’70s sketch-comedy flicks like The Kentucky Fried Movie (1977) and The Grove Tube (1974) comes Loose Shoes (1980), a movie made up entirely of spoofery and goofery in the guise of satirical film trailers. Every great movie never made is here, from The Invasion of the Penis Snatchers to Skateboarders from Hell, with gleefully politically incorrect musical shorts and old Charlie Chaplin bits thrown in for good measure. Van Dyke Parks, Harry Shearer, Bill Murray, Buddy Hackett, Jaye P. Morgan, Kinky Friedman, and a whole host of other oddballs show up, but Betty Thomas and her chesty ta-tas steal the show.
