Little Murder (2011)

A troubled cop gets some supernatural assistance in the New Orleans-set thriller Little Murder (2011). Detective Ben Chaney (Josh Lucas) is working the case of a serial killer who puts masks on his victims when he gets fired for being drunk on the job. Then one day as he wallows in his alcoholic misery Ben encounters a ghost, Corey (Lake Bell), who entreats him to help catch her killer. Everyone thinks Corey is little more than a pink elephant, but as Ben begins to fall for the ghostly gal (and who wouldn’t- it’s Lake Bell!), their doubts only strengthen his resolve. Lake loses her top for a late-night swim in her skivvies, but covers her boobs with her arm as she climbs out of the pool. And that’s the real crime here.
