Life on Mars (2008)

At the beginning of the smash series Life on Mars, police detective Sam Tyler is hot on the trail of the serial killer he’s been tracking when he’s struck by a car and mysteriously transported back to 1973, where he picks up his work with the NYPD under the direction of ball-busting lieutenant Harvey Keitel. Speaking of ball-busting, you might just bust a nut over cutie pie Gretchen Mol as a sexy ’70s lady cop, not to mention nip-tastic Cosby alum Lisa Bonet as Sam’s twenty-first-century love interest Maya. It’s not clear whether Sam’s in a coma, has gone insane, or has actually traveled through time, but the parade of scantily clad ’70s sirens will have you tuning in . . . and turning on.
