By titling her sexy film compendium Lesbian Fun Shorts, director Jennifer McGlone dispenses with puns and poetry and goes instead for glorious exactitude. Loosely patterned after Charlie’s Angels, the smutty series follows four plaid-skirted schoolgirls as they fight against evildoers striving for world domination. McGlone’s tongue is planted firmly in her cheek, but it doesn’t matter insofar as the results are concerned. Lead Angel Alexandra Paul gets right down to business with her scenes of Sapphic experimentation, and though McGlone may be being ironic, Paul’s body is deadly serious.
