Leprechaun 2 (1994)

What’s more magically delicious than the fantastical horror flick Leprechaun (1993)? The silly, scary and sexy sequel Leprechaun 2 (1994). Also known as One Wedding and Lots of Funerals in England, the American chiller diller includes appearances by Clint Howard, Kimmy Robertson, Linda Hopkins, Martha Hackett, and Michael McDonald. Of course, the key player is the creepy character Lubdan the Leprechaun (Warwick Davis). This time around, he can have the married hand of any woman who sneezes three times. Zipping from ancient Ireland to modern-day California, the pint-sized demon busies himself with pranks designed to tickle the nostrils on nubile lass Bridget Callum (Shevonne Durkin). Naturally the babe’s got a boyfriend, Cody Ingalls (Charlie Heath), who is ready to do her bidding. As her protector, he isn’t going to let his lady be carried off by a giggling gremlin. Absurd as it might be, there’s no question that Ms. Durkin is the pot of gold at the end of this particular rainbow. Sadly, the pert blonde enlists a body double to pull a bait and switch when it’s time for her rack to be revealed. It seems this ingénue is much like the trickster she’s running from. Even though the R rated movie was panned by film critics, its titillating scenes helped spawn the spinoffs Leprechaun 3 (1995); Leprechaun 4: In Space (1996); Leprechaun in the Hood (2000); Leprechaun: Back 2 tha Hood (2003); Leprechaun: Origins (2014); and Leprechaun Returns (2018). And this doesn’t even include the leprechaun in Mr. Skin’s britches!
