Le Complexe du kangourou (1986) stars Roland Giraud as a guy who wants desperately to be a dad even though his sperm don't swim anymore. His best bud calls his problem "the kangaroo complex" after the pouchless state of papa kangaroos. On the hunt for a runt, Roland goes looking for a way to have himself a kiddo and cure himself of all his marsupial misery. It's in the middle of kanga-ruminating on biology, family, and jizz that he runs into his old girlfriend, who just happens to have her six-year-old spawn tagging along. Roland thinks the kid looks an awful lot like him; is it possible that the kid is his? It doesn't take much for him to convince himself that it is.
