Lady in the Water (2006)

Here at Skin Central, we love ladies — no matter where we find them. Take The Lady from Shanghai (1947), Lady in Cement (1968), The Lady in the Car with Glasses and a Gun (1970), Lady In Waiting (1994), Lady of the Lake (1998), The Lady of Shalott (2009), and The Lady in the Van (2015). Of course, we’d be remiss not to include Lady in the Water (2006) on this list. M. Night Shyamalan’s eerie fantasy film takes viewers to a weird world of fairy tales come to life. The psychological thriller stars Bryce Dallas Howard as Story. She’s a wide-eyed, otherworldly lass who inexplicably turns up in the pool at a rental property managed by Cleveland Heep (Paul Giamatti). In order for Story to return to her fabled homeland, she will need the unique help of each tenant in the apartment complex. In other words, Anna Ran (Sarita Choudhury), Mrs. Bell (Mary Beth Hurt), Mrs. Bubchik (Tovah Feldshuh), Goatee Smoker (Jared Harris), Harry Farber (Bob Balaban), Mr. Leeds (Bill Irwin), and Vick Ran (Shyamalan) do what they can to lend a helping hand. Speaking of hands, yours will be busy when you get a gander at Young-Soon Choi (Cindy Cheung) sunning her fit figure in an itsy bitsy teeny weeny bikini. If that’s not titillating enough, Ms. Howard reveals her rack just 10 minutes into the flick. It’s dark, it’s fast, it’s just a flash, but that’s what freeze-frame is for. Needless to say, Bryce’s peaks will pique your interest!
