La monaca del peccato (1986)

Pouty-lipped Italian goddess Eva Grimaldi only had one acting performance under her belt when she signed up to star in the enormously controversial nunsploitation film La Monaca del peccato (1986). Grimaldi plays naïve Susanna, whose young adulthood takes a distressing turn when, after being shockingly assaulted by her own father, she’s sent to a convent to atone for her “sins”. Unaccustomed to the life of a cloistered nun, Susanna finds herself drawn to a handsome priest, but the Sisters revolt by subjecting the young innocent to a variety of creative sexual exorcisms. Joe D’Amato’s film is a true cult oddity--he convinces his young star to slip out of her habit countless times for a performance that even Lucifer might blush at. Co-star Jessica Moore embroils herself in the imbroglio in her role as a sinful Sister.
