La lingerie (2008)

The Hong Kong comedy La Lingerie (2008) is about...well, pretty much what you think a movie called La Lingerie would be about. At the beginning of the film, Miu Ho (Stephy Tang) and her cousin Donut (Janica Man) move in to an apartment recently vacated by Miu's deceased aunt. The closet turns out to have quite an impressive selection of lingerie to choose from, which comes in handy since Donut works at a lingerie store and Miou is a lingerie researcher (whatever that means). There's one thing that La Lingerie doesn't have, however, and it's an important one: we don't actually see any women in skimpy lingerie until an hour and 27 minutes in, when co-star J.J. Jia struts around in her skivvies. Hope you kept your receipt...
