Make love, not trouble! But we'd have no trouble making love to the gorgeous babe in this one! La Belle Noiseuse or The Beautiful Troublemaker (1992) is a four-hour nudie loop of star Emmanuelle Beart, perhaps breast known to American audiences for her co-starring role opposite Tom Cruise in Mission: Impossible (1996). But in that movie, the impossible mission was to separate her from her clothes. Mission accomplished in this French tale of a frustrated older painter (Michael Piccoli) and Emmanuelle as his muse and naked model. Despite his fame and fans, Frenhofer (Piccoli) hasn't painted in years. He's got a half-done painting of his wife Liz (Jane Birkin) he'd like to finish, but she's too old all these years later, so he needs a new model to pose for it. After a young artist introduces Frenhofer to his girlfriend Emmanuelle, Frenhofer decides she will do the trick. From there, it's all dialogue about feelings and inner thoughts, which are hard to pay attention to with the constant looks at Emmanuelle's body. But, even if it's for art, Liz isn't going to be too pleased with her hubby hanging out with a younger, hotter, and constantly clothes free version of her. That'll cause some trouble! Almost the entire film takes place in the artist's studio, with Emmanuelle posing in her wonderful skin and nothing else. It's all here: the tits, the ass, and even the bush: all fodder for great art and better masturbation. Viewers can ponder the meaning of art and the process of creation or the laying bare of one's soul, but the less cerebral will enjoy the baring of Emmanuelle in all sorts of artistic positions. We might have to take up painting if it means we get to spend time with naked hotties with bodies like that! This one took home the Grand Prix at the 1991 Cannes Film Festival, which makes sense seeing how our pricks couldn't get enough of those cans in The Beautiful Troublemaker
