L'exercice de l'État (2011)

The French Transportation Minister struggles to maintain his personal life while his political career crumbles in L'exercice de l'État (2011). Getting up int he middle of the site to attend the scene of a bus crash- this is just one of many duties Bertrand Saint-Jean (Olivier Gourmet) must take on as Minister of Transport. He must also deal with the various agenda of his power-hungry political friends (and rivals). When the Prime Minister puts him in charge of the privatization of the railroads, an issue he strongly opposes, Bertrand must decide to keep his morals or give into his ambition.The film opens with a fantasy sequence of Brigitte Lo Cicero climbing fully nude into the mouth of an alligator. Her full funbags, meaty seat, and lower lippage are brought out to be sacrificed as a metaphor for the political climate. Forget the symbolism and concentrate on Brigitte’s ample assets!
