L.A. Doctors

The one-season wonder L.A. Doctors was kind of like L.A. Law . . . only with doctors. The CBS drama focused on four doctors working in an upscale L.A. practice. While exploring the personal lives of the doctors and its patients, it also addressed the problems inherent in the American medical system. Although generally liked by the critics and the recipient of a 1999 People’s Choice Award for Favorite Television New Dramatic Series, the show was another victim of the ratings wars. Much to the chagrin of its fans, the show ended its first and last season with the tragic death of main character Dr. Sarah Church (Sheryl Lee). Thankfully, Sheryl’s memory and mammaries live on. This major hottie first stole our hearts as the dead slut wrapped in plastic, Laura Palmer, in the David Lynch monument to weirdness, Twin Peaks. Come to think of it, Lynch is a monument to weirdness. Anyway, in Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me, she gave us the gift that you can’t get on network TV--a shot of her juicy cans in not one but several scenes. From there she went on to be naked in several other softcore movies. L.A. Doctors co-star Melora Waters has also been gawk-worthy in a gaggle of skin flicks, most recently in 2002’s Desert Saints. Not-naked but still noteworthy babes include Talia Balsam as Julie Lonner and Rebecca Rigg as Kelly Newman. L.A. Doctors, coming never to a DVD player near you.
