Kung Fu: The Legend Continues (1993-1995)

No Nudity

Review

Kung Fu: The Legend Continues was a late follow-up to the similarly titled series that initially ran between 1972 and 1975. It featured David Carradine reprising the role of Kwai Chang Caine, a monk who used to live with his son Peter (Chris Potter) in a Shaolin temple. But when the temple was destroyed during a fire, Caine mistakenly believed his son dead and promptly decided to “walk the Earth”…again. After fifteen years of doing just that, father and son accidentally meet again and form a two-man butt-kicking squad. Although the cultural background of the series may be anything but accurate, it benefits from two excellent leads and a general sense of humanity. Thus we hardly see Caine using weapons and never applying any unnecessary violence. Instead he is polite, educated, and caring (without becoming too preachy). Well done! Be that as it may, after eighty-eight new episodes that premiered between the 27th of January 1993 and the 1st of January 1997, the series was cancelled a second time--most likely for good. Nudity Report: None, but two of the supporting actresses showed off on other occasions. For a look at the breathtakingly beautiful Kristin Lehman and her perfect boobs, check out the B-thriller Bleeders, while the blonde’s equally flawless butt can be found in the comedy Dog Park. If you prefer brunettes there is still the 1998 flick The Falling which contains some nice toplessness by Lehman’s sexy co-star Nicole Oliver.
