King of New York (1990)

Bad-boy auteur Abel Ferrara reimagines the Robin Hood legend in a Big Apple milieu via the vicious crime thriller King of New York (1990). The great Christopher Walken sinks his teeth into the role of Frank White, a no-nonsense drug lord who’s been hardened by his stint behind bars. Returning to his New York stomping grounds, White elects to eliminate the competition by making the sewers run with their blood. But because he’s such a nice guy, he figures he’ll divvy up the profits to the poor while he’s at it, and maybe even build a hospital for underprivileged city kids. Why not? With his gang of black drug dealers, led by Jimmy Colt (Laurence Fishburne), Frank takes out the Colombians not just to rule the Big Apple, but to put a stop to their child trafficking business. What a guy. But crime is crime, so soon enough the NYPD's best, including Wesley Snipes, David Caruso and Victor Argo are all doing whatever they can to come for the king. Who will win drives the plot, but who you want to win drives the moral conundrum in this relentlessly hard-edged and violent flick. Boasting one of the best ensemble casts imaginable, David Caruso, Laurence Fishburne, Steve Buscemi, Giancarlo Esposito, and Harold Perrinau all make appearances in this one. But those eventual A-listers are nothing compared to all the girls from New York Mr. Skin wants to pork, who were willing to show some skin on screen. Carrie Nygren shows her body in a back bra and panties as her and the similarly adorned Theresa Randle lounge around their hotel room loading their guns in case of action. The gorgeous blonde Janet Julian shows her left tit while Walken feels her up on the subway. It's good to be king! But the best skin scene comes from the curly haired, bouncy canned cutie Pheobe Legere, who plays a topless, thong wearing hooker draped all over one of the Colombians as they walk around the brothel. Selling drugs but giving to charity leaves a man more than deserving of some bomb ass New York City titty like Frank White gets in King of New York!
