Star-crossed lovers make a bid for eternal conjunction in the smoldering made-for-television French drama Jusqu'a ce que la mort nous separe (1999). Loosely translated as Until Death Do Us Part, the film is considerably more serious in tone than the BBC sitcom with which it shares a title. Lead players Julie Du Page and Serge Dupire sizzle in their respective roles, with the former showing quite a bit more than her honey-blonde locks.
