Jupiter Moon

The British production Jupiter Moon was the first soap opera set in outer space. However, despite a good cast (Anna Chancellor, Fay Masterson, and my compatriot Janna Striebeck to name a few), it turned out to be a rather short-lived experiment that disappeared after only one year in the widths of TV history. The “action” takes place on the old spacecraft “Ilea,” which is cruising around the Jupiter system. The special aspect about the “Ilea” is that it also serves as a university, which is why the crew consisted of both students and scientists. The storyline doesn’t offer much action or many thrills since they willingly excluded any aliens or monsters. Thus the only thing added aside from the common human interactions was a little bit of science drama every now and then. Luckily, the back-then only 16-year-old Fay Masterson has by now become a grown-up beautiful young woman who has pleased us with some excellent and well-lit shots of her magnificent breasts in the Brit-thriller Sorted. Quite a cool flick, as well!
