Julie was an extremely short-lived sitcom directed by Blake Edwards and starring his wife Julie Andrews. Initially airing in 1992, the story centred on the television star Julie Carlisle (Andrews) who, after marrying Sam McGuire (James Farentino), gives up her career and moves with him to Sioux City, Iowa. However, soon this situation becomes unsatisfying for Julie so she considers broadcasting the show from her new home. Frictions among the newlyweds arise. Julie Andrews was already in her late 50’s when this show was shot, but to see the Briton in her absolute prime, check out the 1971 musical Darling Lily where she briefly flashes a sweet left breast on a stage. For an even more explicit look at the mature Miss Andrews and her assets, you may want to get your hands on 1981’s S.O.B. as it contains some lengthy toplessness by the back-then 46-year-old.
