Josie and the Pussycats

Initially broadcast between September 1970 and January 1971 (16 episodes), the story followed an all-girl rock’n’roll band named Josie and the Pussycats. While travelling the world, they not only gave concerts but also were involved in an array of adventures. This was a short-lived animated series from which the shitty movie starring such babes as Rachael Leigh Cook, Tara Reid, Rosario Dawson, and Parker Posey is based. Aside from this, it is nowadays only worth mentioning for marking the back-then breathtakingly beautiful Cheryl Ladd’s first acting job as the singing voice of “Melody Valentine.” Sadly Cheryl never actually showed off, at least in a naked way. Despite this major setback, she looked seriously hot in everything she ever did, so check out the 1974 adventure flick Evil in the Deep or her most famous part in the TV series Charlie’s Angels for some bikini-clad shots.
