Joan Allen Nude

"I was a very good girl for a long time, that's what really drew me to acting. The stage was the perfect place to be outrageous, to be sad, to be angry, to be all these different things," says Joan Allen. No surprise then, that the Rochelle, Illinois, native was a founding member of Chicago's famous Steppenwolf Theater Company. The stage was good to Joan, and she won a Tony award for her New York Broadway debut in Lanford Wilson's Burn This, which was sadly not about her bra. Cinema was a greater challenge. She was the secondary character in such films as Compromising Positions (1985), Peggy Sue Got Married (1986), Tucker: The Man and His Dream (1988), and Searching for Bobby Fischer (1993). Her breakthrough role was as the long-suffering Pat Nixon in Oliver Stone's Nixon (1995). That led to well-received movies such as The Crucible (1996), The Ice Storm (1997), Pleasantville (1998), When the Sky Falls (2000), and The Upside Of Anger (2005). Sadly, Joan's characters rarely exhibit very much of their sex lives onscreen. Or at least that was the case until Off the Map (2003), in which Joan delivered her full birthday suit, and the Stephen King thriller A Good Marriage (2014), in which Joan indulged in a sex scene. More recent credits include The Killing (2014), Room (2015), and The Family (2016), but it's been a while since Joan has given us a peek at the goods. We suppose you could say that we're Joans-ing for more!
