Jenny

This short-lived sitcom was NBC’s counterpart to the MTV-produced Jenny McCarthy Show which had premiered about half a year earlier. What both productions had in common was that they were vehicles for the former Playboy bunny to further her fame and, considering that she went on to small parts in Diamonds and Scream 3, this plan worked out pretty well! However, while The Jenny McCarthy Show at least benefited from Jenny’s natural down to earth appearance (I’m not talking about her tits, fellas!) this series was a) badly written and b) weakly acted. Now I’m not saying that Jenny’s a bad performer, but she obviously realized the lack of quality in the source material and thus assimilated to it. Let’s just hope so, anyway. As for nudity, this is one of the few occasions that Jenny McCarthy appeared in something without taking her clothes off. Darn! The easiest way to see Jen in all her surgically enhanced glory is by checking on the “Hefmag” and its associated products where she showed off everything various times.
