Jalousie (1991)

For the non-Francophiles out there, Jalousie (1991) is how the French say “jealousy”, and there’s plenty of sexual suspicion to go around in Kathleen Fonmarty's steamy comedy. Portuguese fox Lio stars as Camille, an ambitious artist who initiates an affair with voracious Pierre (Christian Vadim). Pierre eventually wearies of Camille and tries to ditch her with tall tales of sexual conquest, but the young woman keeps her jealousy bottled up, refusing to be easily disposed of. Lio’s skin reveals are restricted to her role as Pierre’s part-time nude model, and she cuts an undeniably fine figure.
