It's Still Huge To See Taylor Schilling Topless
One thing I admire about actors is their ability to be nude on camera and pretend to make the most intimate act look real. If they're good actors, they make it look real. It will always be hard for me to wrap my head around the idea that being nude and pretending to have sex can be just not that big of deal, though, when you are Taylor Schilling, if you do it enough it becomes not that big of a deal.
The Orange is the New Blackstarsaid in a recent interview that going around topless and being fake intimate with Laura Prepon has become just another day at the office for her. Or as she put it:
"They're pretty easy," she says. "To me it's a bit of choreography, then everyone is on their way home. It's not comfortable, but it's simple. For Laura and me it's just old hat now."
I guess that just shows the skill of the actor, to be able to look at it as something “easy”. I'm always a bit surprised to discover that Taylor Schilling has a nudity clause in her contract. Since there are so many scenes of her topless on OITNB I assumed she didn’t have one. Well, that’s what I get for assuming.
"I don't know who wouldn't," she says. "But nobody is trying to sneak a nipple in there without telling you. Or an errant pubic hair!"
Just like all of you June 17th can’t here fast enough for me. I’m ready to binge watch the new season of Orange Is The New Black when it hits Netflix; what a great way to spend a weekend!
