Lindsay Lohan is engaged, out of rehab, turning 30, and yes—she's writing a book to detail her life's exploits thus far. Her career since her young days has been a doozy, half filled with award-winning and iconic roles and half filled behind the doors of rehabs/bars of prison. (OK, so she was in prison for like 48 minutes—that's not the point here).
Now that her substance abuse days are behind her (yay!), we have to admit we're pretty excited to see what she'll come up with for her memoir. Aninterviewwith Vanity detailed that it would be about her "personal life experiences" plus "how to overcome obstacles," which means a fair share will probably be attributed to partying. The other parts will perhaps talk about her time on screen—plus the lack thereof since her career temporary derailed. I don't imagine there will be a chapter about her awesome boobs, but I can dream.
In honor of what I sincerely hope is one scintillating book and return of Lindsay on the big screen, let us recap some of our favorite moments here at Mr. Skin. Eh hem:
The Canyons
Don't get me wrong—Mean Girls was great, but this independent erotic thriller contained a part porn star cast plus bare boobage from Lindsay. The movie itself didn't get great ratings, but it's incredibly entertaining nonetheless. Lindsay has sunk her teeth into more challenging roles like this one (think: Georgia Rule), many of which blessedly include the shedding of clothing.
So, first thing to look for to: More erotic thrillers.
Lindsay's Private Party for Muse Magazine
OK, so this wasn't a movie, but the short video is one of Lindsay's most erotic public moments to date. (Besides stuff she's posted on her Snapchat, of course.) We can only hope her book will prompt more digital coverage like this—but, err, minus some of the partying. Now that I'm thinking about her Snapchats, I have a personal vote: More videos of her dancing on boats!
Machete
This actionfilm more or less plays on the image Lindsay had at the time, plus it includes a few machetes and Danny Glover. Need I say more?
In the instance of Lindsay, we can only hope her rough patch is patched—seeing her backon the big screen might bring back some nudity plus the acting prowess we know she has, making for tons of exposure and new roles.If anything, that rocky period of time might have wizened her up so she can take on even more challenging and, err, uninhibited roles.
