Interrogation (1989)

Krystyna Janda plays a woman whose carefree evening of drinking and cavorting morphs into a nightmare in the taut Polish thriller Przesluchanie (1982). After allowing herself to get a bit too soused, Tonia (Janda) wakes up on a concrete slab, uncertain of how she got there. As she comes to her senses, the woman realizes that she’s being detained in a prison cell and that her captors are bent on coercing her into confessing to a crime she didn’t commit. The sadists in Ryszard Bugajski’s politically themed thriller treat Tonia to a medley of tortures, and for most of them she’s wearing little more than a negligee. Janda’s gorgeous curves are repeatedly on display as she’s manhandled by the brutes who run the hellish gulag.
