Characters lives become intertwined with Russian mafia in Berlin in the mini-series In Face of the Crime (2010). This ensemble drama revolves around a crime syndicate and the power struggles, corrupt police officers, human trafficking rings, and personal lives that make it tick. Main storylines include a beautiful immigrant lured to Germany with the promise of a job but instead ends up a prostitute, and a cop who is investigating the murder of his brother. It’s a boob tube show but broadcast on cable in Germany so it features the pink-tipped pleasures of a bevy of Euro-babes. And with the premium peaks of Ulrike C.
