Imaginary Friend (2012)

When a five-year-old girl has an imaginary friend, it's cute. When a thirty-five-year-old woman has one, it's downright disturbing, as proven by the Lifetime TV movie Imaginary Friend (2012). Emma (Lacey Chabert) is a beautiful and talented artist whose husband Brad (Ethan Embry) adores her. That sounds just about perfect, but when Emma's imaginary friend "Brittany", the product of a traumatic and abusive childhood, re-emerges, things take a sharp turn towards the weird. Brad tries to persuade her to get help, but Emma keeps sinking deeper and deeper into her fantasy world. In Mr. Skin's fantasy world, Lacey gets naked, but in real life we have to settle for a handful of bikini scenes...and a lot of imagination.
