I Still Know What You Did Last Summer (1998)

Aren't bad memories enough punishment on their own? A young female person makes one dumb mistake during a moment of immature summer exuberance, and then that incident haunts her for the rest of her life. Sure, unless that mistake is an unplanned pregnancy that carries to fruition, the poor girl can eventually push the negative event to the back reaches of her consciousness and move forward with life, but not if, as in I Still Know What You Did Last Summer (1998), some vindictive creep keeps rubbing that horrible vacation error in her face. And then, as if being a constant reminder to a life-changing blunder is not enough, the sadistic scold feels free to go around gutting all the unfortunate, afflicted girl's friends with a grappling hook, saving her to slay last. If she gets out of this jam alive, how will she ever forget it?
