House of Mouse

It seems like a fairly rotten idea: an all-new Mickey Mouse cartoon series. (Why even bother when the old classics will likely inevitably prove more entertaining?) But against all odds, House of Mouse was created, and as it turns out, it is actually a rock-solid little addition to the Disney canon. Infused with a colorful anarchy reminiscent of WB’s Tiny Toons series and chock-full of Disney in-jokes and movie characters, this is an altogether cool little cartoon, one I enjoyed a whole lot more than I expected.
