“It was 20 years ago today,” the Beatles began Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band—the titular song on their iconic album that turns 50 this June.

Almost as iconic, it was 34 years ago this month that the Hootersrestaurant chain was born … and it’s been making beautiful music for millions ever since!

“Today, we celebrate the anniversary of a national treasure,” E Online wrote earlier in April, “a beacon of light amid the ever-darkening times, a place to rest your weary bones, and eat chicken wings. Hooters.” Why not sit a spell …

“Now for the real first thing that comes to mind about Hooters,” Business News notes. “No, not the fried onion tanglers. The ‘nearly world famous’ Hooters Girls.’ They are, after all, the ‘cornerstone of the Hooters concept’ and constitute 69% percent of Hooters’ 25,000 person workforce. Oh, and they have big boobs.”

Coming full circle above left … in the words of one reviewer: “The restaurant chain does not primarily promote the quality of their food, but rather the sexual quality of their attractive waitresses,” above right.

“It is also quite obvious,” the reviewer adds, “that breast size is also important to work at Hooters.” Or, in the words of VoyeurWeb.com: “Quite many Hooters Girls have big tits. Or very big tits.” Naturally (below):

“It can assumed,” they pec•ulate, “that many Hooters Girls have gotten breast implants—first to land the job, and then to get bigger tips.” Like this silicone server from Boston.

Sleuth is from Maryland … but sadly the Hooters location right down the road from his residence has recently had to close its doors.

The Hooters of Rockville had thrived for decades …

… until one of its patrons drove drunk and fatally struck a police officer just after pulling out of the parking lot.

Since the customer had been served “beer and whiskey for more than four hours,” according to court documents, the county refused to renew Hooters’ liquor license … and held the restaurant “accountable.”

Thus, within days, the thriving, ideally-situated location …

… had been stripped bare!

Where weeks before Hooters Girls had held continual community car wash events …

hoses and bikinis – that’s really Rockville (below left)—were rapidly replaced with a mournful note and, as the local paper put it: “All signage at Hooters was gone by yesterday evening, with a ghostly imprint of their famous owl logo still visible on the window despite its removal” (below right).

So please indulge Sleuth in moment of nostalgia {no, that’s not him below left} for the welcoming waitresses of every ethnicity at the Rockville restaurant (below right).

And many grew close over the years not just to the customers, but also their colleagues—as the location’s lusty, or laid-on, lesbianism would help fill the coffers and stoke the fantasies of the clientele.

One waitress who was adept at selling same-sex stimulus soon became among the most popular—“out and proud bisexual” Taylor:

Not surprisingly the most requested of the restaurant’s servers (below left), Taylor impressed enough patrons to parlay her popularity into a modeling career (below right).

And her 34D hooters hardly hurt her chances … or tips!

Though exploiting her position—a superior supine—to pull off her pantyhose for a photo shoot on a table eventually led to Taylor being both stacked … and sacked.

Happily, her Hooters ‘slot’ was filled by an 18-year-old with braces from Rochester, NY (below left) named Lucky … whose good fortune was to fill out beautifully and confine her posing to in-house rather than in-store!

Alas, all good things have to come to an end … though Sleuth intends to continue to honor Hooters over the coming weeks by uncovering all aspects of this “national treasure”—from its earliest history and first ‘finds’ all the way up to today’s surprising celebrities who got their start as Hooters Girls.
