Hollywood Vice Squad (1986)

Penelope Spheeris has directed some very funny movies including Wayne’s World (1992) and Black Sheep (1996), but Hollywood Vice Squad (1986) was not one of her finest works. It’s a crime comedy/action movie that just clunks along. The idea is simple; a mother follows her runaway daughter to Hollywood only to find out she has gotten into the porn industry. Not sure what to do, the mom turns to the police for help, but they seem inept at every turn so she must take matters into her own hands.

There are a few Hollywood big names slumming it in this flick including Carrie Fisher and Tom Everett, but it is Robin Wright who gets it right by showing off some sexy skin. She doesn’t get naked (for a movie about porn and prostitutes there is no actual nudity), but we do get see her in a sexy black bra and panty set while she kneels on a bed. It’s not a whole lot, but she looks good enough that you may find a Forrest Stump in your pants!
