Hitch Hike to Hell (1977)

There’s no such thing as a free ride, especially when it comes to doltish delivery driver Howard Martin (Robert Gribbin) in Hitch Hike to Hell (1977). Howard loves his mother, and he loves picking up teen girls hitchhiking while running his dry cleaning delivery routes. If the thumbing teenagers claim to be mother-hating runaways, Howard hits the roof and strangles his passengers. When the crazy chauffeur begins to leave behind a bevy of bodies, he catches the attention of the local police and a determined detective (Russell Johnson). As the murderous momma’s boy begins to crack, his last victim unknowingly helps to end his devilish deeds.
