Hit the Floor (2013-2018)

A young woman pursues her dream of becoming a professional dancer against her mother's wishes on the VH1 drama series Hit the Floor (2013-). Ahsha Hayes' (Taylour Page) mother Sloane (Kimberly Elise) wants her to stay in school and get a job at a bank, but instead Ahsha tries out for (and makes) the dance team for the basketball team the L.A. Devils. It's not that Sloane hates basketball or anything--quite the opposite. It's just that she used to be a fly girl herself, and she knows how wild things can get at those after-game parties. Don't worry, Mom, it doesn't get that wild (this is basic cable, after all), although team captain Logan Browning in her undies  will really dribble your balls.
