Hidden Hills

Standard sitcom fare gets a postmodern 2002 treatment in this cleverly written (and decidedly adult) comedy series. Modern-day suburbia is the setting here, though this is no Married…with Children style farce; there are several familiar and telling touches here, be it a young father’s crush on a local soccer mom or the importance of employing ‘bedroom discretion’ when little ones are about. Some of it is a bit risky and rude, but the all-around solid cast easily keeps things breezy and fun. Plus all the gals (including Paula Marshall and Stacy Galina) make for some of the sexiest suburbanites this side of Peyton Place.
