Biography

Born Hera Hilmarsdóttir in Reykjavík, Iceland, this chiseled beauty has since changed her name to the more palatable Hera Hilmar. Hera appeared in a pair of Icelandic films as a child actress, but her career really started to pick up steam with a role in the juvenile delinquent drama The Quiet Storm in 2007. Since then, she's appeared mostly in overseas productions, including the U.K. adaptation of Leo Tolstoy's Russian novel Anna Karenina (2012), the BBC series World Without End and Leaving, the British thriller Alleycats (2016), the Icelandic/Norwegian family drama Sumarbörn (AKA Summer Children) (2017), the Indian/American fantasy-drama The Ashram (2018), and the New Zealand/Japan/U.S. co-production Mortal Engines (2018). But Hera's hills really came alive on the Starz series Da Vinci's Demons, on which she appeared for 25 episodes from 2013 to 2015. In one episode, she bares Renaissance rackage while posing for a topless portrait. In another, she lets her right breast slip out of an open shirt while asking for help. But her best scenes from this series are where she wears a merkin, otherwise known as a pubic wig. She sports this sex-cessory pre- and post-coitus (simulated, of course). It's like she swore an oath to show us more skin because she was sexy in her skivvies in the Icelandic crime-drama The Oath (2016), plus she bared her beautiful breasts again in the escort drama Life in a Fishbowl (2014) and in front of legendary actor Ben Kingsley in the Serbian/American flick An Ordinary Man (2017). Way to bare-a your pair-a, Hera!
