Henri 4 (2010)

A war hero's rocky ascension to the French throne is documented in the historical romance Henri 4 (2009). Henry of Navarre (Julien Boisselier) is a battlefield veteran who is suddenly called to court by the aging queen Catherine de Medici (Hannelore Hoger) to marry her daughter Margaret (Armelle Deutsch) and unite the warring Catholic and Protestant factions that are tearing the country apart. But the Catholics aren't quite ready to bury the hatchet, a sentiment they rather crudely express by slaughtering all the Protestant guests at Henri's wedding. How will Henri be able to juggle a wife and a mistress and unite the county all at the same time? With Armelle's queenly T&A as motivation, we're sure he can work something out.
