Hello Herman (2013)

Garrett Backstrom stars as the titular character in the emotional drama Hello Herman (2012). Set in the not so distant future, sixteen-year-old Herman goes on a killing spree in his school, gunning down thirty-nine classmates and three adults. Just before he’s arrested, he e-mails his idol, famous video blogger Lax Morales (Norman Reedus), photographic evidence of his vicious attack, in hopes of sharing his story from prison. What a guy! Not one to turn down a scandalous story, Lax jumps at the chance to interview the devious dude. Lax is put through his own emotional turmoil when he’s reminded of his checkered past as he discusses Herman’s reasons for shooting up his high school. Martha Higareda cuts through the heavy emotions of the film by giving us a glance at her cleavage in a few scenes. Hello Herman? It’s more like Hello, Martha!
