Heartbreak High

Imagine an Australian version of Beverly Hills 90210, only a bit grittier – though no less popular in its native land. Running over 200 episodes between 1994 and 1999, the series dealt with the requisite heartaches and young love affairs but also had an eye for a few of the more unsavory issues with which teens deal. Offering a bit more insight and wit into the topics of teen alcoholism and the sort, Heartbreak High is still quite fondly remembered Down Under…and with good reason.
