Grosse Pointe

No Nudity

Review

No relation to the John Cusack movie Grosse Pointe Blank (1997), the Darren Star/Aaron Spelling sitcom Grosse Pointe was an attempt to lampoon the very thing that made both producers so amazingly wealthy during the '90s: namely, TV shows like Beverly Hills, 90210 and Melrose Place. Over the course of its seventeen-episode run, Grosse Pointe tweaked, teased, and taunted both Fox series and even the actors who worked on them! Although it displayed an endearing tendency toward self-deprecation, the show never hit it big with the intended audience, despite the brilliant bevy of beautiful babes aboard. Those who did bother to tune in were treated to the tantalizing talents of Joely Fisher, Lindsay Sloane, Irene Molloy, and The O.C. beauty Bonnie Somerville. And, as you can plainly see, these gals are anything but gross(e)!
