Good Advice

No Nudity

Review

After somehow believing that a defection from Cheers would be a step UP in her career, the lovely Shelley Long popped up in the short-lived romantic sitcom Good Advice. Long was a marriage counselor working alongside a he-man divorce attorney played by the lantern-jawed Treat Williams. (No offense to Treat, but Shelley had much better chemistry with Ted Danson!) Despite the extra perkiness provided by the adorable Teri Garr, this 1993 CBS series lasted only a mere nineteen episodes. Shelley was later seen firing her agent while screaming something about the opposite of “good advice”.
