Goober and the Ghost-Chasers

No Nudity

Review

A clever dog and his kooky gang of crime solvers get into all sorts of silly scrapes while researching various paranormal activities. Scooby-Doo, right? Nope! Displaying a bout of plagiarism generally unseen outside of a cease-and-desist court order, Goober and the Ghost-Chasers was one of the most blatant copies ever unleashed on an unsuspecting Saturday morning audience. Although only sixteen episodes were produced, the series managed to hang on for two consecutive seasons. Not even the sinfully sultry vocal vivaciousness of Jo Ann Harris could make the tykes forget about Scoob’s delicious Daphne, and the inaugural episode cameo by sexy Susan Dey left us hoping for more of the perky Partridge.
