God Help The Girl (2014)

God Help the Girl (2014) is the directorial debut of Belle and Sebastian frontman Stuart Murdoch. The film tells the story of Eve (Emily Browning), a young woman who uses her songwriting skills to get through a bout of depression that lands her in the hospital. When she's released from the hospital, she ventures into the big city where she meets two other musicians, James (Olly Alexander) and Cassie (Hannah Murray), and the three of them begin to explore new worlds of music-making together. Since this is a PG-13 flick aimed at teens, the exploring they do is mostly musical in nature, though we do get some sexy shots of Emily Browning, first in her undies in the hospital, and also in a bra later in the film as she drinks and sings. God help anyone holding out for any nudity, as sadly there's none to be found.
