One could describe Girlfriends as a soul-sister version of Sex and the City, except for the fact that it plays on UPN--so don’t expect any bare boobies or bawdy banter. But what you will get is a lot of free time spent with gals like Golden Brooks, Persia White, Christina Cox, Jill Marie Jones, and Tracee Ellis Ross.
