Gift From Above (2003)

A con man struggles to pull off a diamond heist amidst his close-knit community in the Israeli comedy Gift from Above (2003). Ottari (Lior Ashkenazi) is a porter at the Tel Aviv airport who is planning to steal an incoming shipment of raw diamonds fresh from South Africa, as it passes through customs. But what makes his criminal plot unique is that this Georgian and his team of crooks are from a unique neighborhood that all speak their own unique language, are all cheating on their wives with neighborhood girls, owe each other money, and are so interconnected that planning the crime is a neighborhood project.
