Get Rich or Die Tryin' (2005)

50 Cent plays Marcus, an inner-city drug dealer who gives up selling dime bags to drop beats as a rapper in Get Rich or Die Tryin' (2005). Well, it's not much of a stretch for the notoriously criminally minded star, but he does exude real star quality on the screen and manages to carry the film and make audiences root for his rags-to-rapping-riches success. He contributes to the soundtrack, naturally, but it's his co-star, Joy Bryant, who really gives this movie a heavy bottom. The ebony beauty falls for Marcus, and when her clothes fall off in their bedroom scene, audiences will fall for her too, hard. Whether getting rich or dying, Joy is definitely worth trying.
