Gabrielle Dennis has been spicing up TV screens for a long while, starting at age nine in the TV movie A Mom for Christmas (1990) with Olivia Newton-John. She took a break to grow up, and returned to a recurring role in Daman Wayans TV series The Underground in 2006. Two years later, she landed a starring role as series regular Janay in The Game, from 2008-2012. While establishing herself as a TV star, Gabrielle took a small part as a female fan in The Janky Promotors (2009), written by Ice Cube and starring the man himself, as well as Mike Epps and Jeezy, and floated around TV land, picking up bit parts and tiny roles. In 2010, she decided to double-dip, and also took on the recurring role of Denise Roy in Spike TV’s college football series Blue Mountain State, where she shows some good-looking cleavage in a variety of lingerie. Gorgeous Gabrielle, an Ohio native and a graduate of Howard University, did a few more TV roles, including Gloria in Justified in 2014, where her black lingerie sizzles; Baby Daddy; and Bones; then grabbed a starring role as Pippy Rosewood on the TV series Rosewood from 2015-2017. She stars as herself in the cameo-laden movie Girls Trip (2017) with Queen Latifah, Jada Pinkett-Smith, Regina Hall, and Tiffany Haddish; and played Tilda Johnson in the TV series Luke Cage in 2018. She also played Whitney Houston in The Bobby Brown Story in 2018, Candice in Insecure in 2017-2018, Brianna Harrelson in S.W.A.T.in 2018-2019, and Tasha in The Upshaws in 2021. A comedienne as well as an actress, she’s also been a regular cast member of A Black Lady Sketch Show from 2019-2021. She’s come a long way from her ONJ days!
